I don’t know if there is a five generation picture of my great-great-grandmother, my great-grandmother, grandmother, mother and me in the same photograph or not. I don’t recall ever seeing one. There may be. I was four years old when my great-great-grandmother Jane passed away. But here are five generations on my mother’s side, via family photos, plus our daughters and our son’s daughters.
My great-great-grandmother, Jane. 1859 – 1958
Jane and her husband George.
George: 1850 – 1927
George and Jane’s daughter, my great-grandmother, Sadie (Sarah) and her husband Walter.
Walter: 1883 – 1950
Sadie: 1885 – 1961
Walter and Sadie’s daughter, my grandmother, Nellie and her husband Harold.
Harold: 1908 – 1992
Nellie: 1907 – 1989
Harold and Nellie’s daughter, Georgia and my dad Alan.
DH and me…
There you go…five generations via the women.
Oh, but then there are our three daughters…
And our granddaughters…
Seven generations. ~~Rhonda 🙂
