at last

Spring is here. The white crocus opened today. I noticed them when I went out the back door to try to get a picture of the skunk ambling across the back yard. Missed the skunk (I don’t mind saying I wasn’t very aggressive on that front), but found the crocus.

The daffodils near the back door are about ready to pop.

While we were gone last week, the yellow crocus popped out. We got the report from our house sitter. Prior to this year, the latest we’ve had the first bloom was Feb. 22. These opened March 5. But, at last, winter is over.

    THANK GOODNESS! I was about to go stir crazy with all this cold weather! It’s so nice to see the flowers starting to open! YAY!
