DH found these in the back yard yesterday. I am so happy to see them!
So refreshing to see the beautiful colors of crocus blooms.
In the evening, Middle Daughter and I caught up on several episodes of Top Chef. A friend gave us ten pounds of pecans, so while I watched, I picked pecan meats. Got a quart with lots more to crack and pick.
The grands are here today and the weather is beautiful. I think we’ll have some fun!

We’ve had strange weather here on the East Coast this winter. Christmas it was in the 70, followed by one very cold day, then warm with heavy rain, a few gifts of snow but not enough to make me happy, then warm, then frigid with wind chills of below 14 degrees and yesterday it was very warm with very strong storms, thunder/lightning and tornado’s.
I am a winter person. I want it cold with lots of snow. But spring seems to be coming early along with a March Easter. I took a short walk the other day and was amazed to see tons of purple crocus covering my neighbors lawn. They do make you smile and always the first sign of springs arrival.
