This MINI Putz church is made from a pattern I drew in January of 2012. I’ve made a couple from that pattern in the last few weeks. This MINI version is the latest.
The vintage-style card was very inspiring. I love the greens and blues on the card.
I like to use greeting cards to make the bases for my Putz houses. They dictate the colors used on the Putz and ocassionally provide other design elements. In this case, I took inspiration from the post and board fence pictured at the bottom of the card.
The fence is made from slivered popsicle sticks. You can find the tutorial here: making picket fences for putz houses
The church is ready to welcome everyone to the Christmas Eve service…
You can see my Putz houses and other Christmas ornaments in my Etsy shop.

I am always happy to answer questions about the process. Please ask, if you are wondering about the details of putzing!
All proceeds from my Etsy shop benefit Kenya Mercy Ministries. They work with the urban poor of Nairobi, Kenya, particularly the children and their families who live in Kibera, the largest slum in Africa. Thank you for your part in helping these children when you purchase items from my shop!
