I found a very cute, though small, Christmas card that I decided to use as the base for a Putz house, so I drew a pattern and came up with this.
How cute is this card? And I love the colors!
A tiny Santa plays his cello for the singing elves…
I made the wreath from a bit of chenille stem and some very small red wired cording. The wire in the tiny bit of red ribbon makes it much easier to form a bow for the wreath.
This ivory and dark green Putz house has dark red window frames.
The base has foiled gold highlights.
Putz houses come to life when the lights are on!
The bottle brush trees are decorated with small beads and faux snow. While the snow is still wet, it’s sprinkled with clear glitter.
I like the unusual windows in this dark red Putz house.
It also has a side bump-out with a door.
The base pictures a holly wreath.
This mini Putz may be one of my top five favorite Putz houses that I’ve made. It sits at an angle to the base and has a very traditional Christmas look to it.
The base has a Victorian-style picture.
It’s much smaller than my usual patterns.
Even prettier when the lights are shining.

Very nice. I like the cream house. I really like that red house house that looks “old”. It’s kinda skinny and I can imagine the bump out was added on at a later date as the family grew 🙂
