putz houses from the past week or so

I have been busy working my way through the box of Putz houses I had stashed from a few years ago. Most needed window panes and frames. I finished those touches and have been putting them on bases ever since. Here are a few of the ones I have finished.

I may have to keep this one. It is listed in Etsy, but I’m waffling…

One of my own patterns. Do you like the arch or not?

There are two more that I finished but haven’t posted to Etsy yet. This is the first time I’ve made one with a rounded fence.

Rounded fence

The ski-slope design is one of my favorites. The trees on this house are dusted with “antique silver” colored glitter.. The scalloped fence is made from tinsel chenille stems. That’s “pipe cleaners” for folks in my generation.

Little blue house

Headed to bed. I’ll be back to work tomorrow. I have two more houses to finish.

Love the beads piled against the house and strung along the wall. I like the arch. The rounded wall is a nice addition. You need some tiny bunnies to go with your wildlife additions!

I love everyone of them. It would be so hard for me to sell them, lol! I like the rounded fence and I like the arch too. They all look wonderful. One of the things I really like is how you take those plastic deer and paint them. They look so good when you can “match” them to the house. The double chimney looks awesome especially as a blue house. That ski-slope style is very charming. I can honestly imagine walking into any of your houses and feeling like I’ve come home. They are so nice!

I think the rounded fence house might be one of my favorite so far. One reason is that often less is better and this looks more like what I think of in terms of a Putz house. The best advice I was ever given in terms of creating, store displays, decorating or even accessorizing your outfit is to walk away, come back and remove two things. I also like the sloped roof as it reminds of a house in the Pocono Mountains, Pa.
