cemetery visit

DS#1 gave us a tour of one of his favorite cemeteries in town. The weather was beautiful, in the low 70s, partly cloudy, partly sunny, lots of nice photo ops.

DD#3 was impressed with the size of this tulip tree.

big and tall

She enjoyed babysitting the twins, too. 🙂

In the House of Memory…stone windows.

Under the magnolia tree, lines of Confederate grave sites.

Beautiful monuments, urns, statues, etc., were abundant.

The twins did not like the wind in their faces.

Signs of spring were everywhere.

It was wonderful to get outside, walk in the fresh air, enjoy the sunshine, see spring bursting forth…we didn’t want to leave!
